One in every 10 persons in our country has the disease of addiction and each addicted person affects others who may not be addicted. The art work below demonstrates the amazing power of the creative spirit to foster freedom from addiction and that a life free from addiction is available to all who want it.
Art of Recovery Show 2009 - Theme "Renewal"
In conjunction with the September 2009 annual National Recovery Month festivities, the Central Virginia chapter of SAARA (Substance Abuse and Addiction Recovery Alliance ) will sponsor an art show. If you've been affected by addiction - either directly or indirectly- show us how you feel by submitting a work of art dedicated to the theme of renewal.
